It is important that you read and understand the following:
You will not be charged any fee for using the JB-3 Loaner, but you will be charged for shipping (and expedited handling) the Loaner to you ($19,95). The Loaner will be shipped by United States Postal Service Priority Mail (Insured) within 2 business days of receiving your request.
We suggest that before you send your JB-3 back for repair please try out the Loaner for a few days to make sure it is working properly for you.
Loaners are only available to current owners of JB-3’s.
There are a limited number of Loaners, Should all our Loaners be in service we will not be able to help other people, so we ask that you understand the following request: You may use the Loaner as long as your JB-3 is in the shop for repair, however the Loaner will be expected to be returned within 20 days after your repaired or replaced JB-3 has been returned to you. If for some reason you need more than 20 days to return the Loaner, please call at 888-767-1924 or email support@jb-3.com to notify is of the delay. We are flexible about the Loaner and the time can be extended if necessary. However, if the Loaner hasn't been returned after 20 days from the time your repaired JB-3 has been sent back to you, you may receive an invoice for the Loaner for the $175.00 replacement cost unless other arrangements have been made.
Please don’t send a JB-3 back requiring a signature for delivery because there may not be staff to sign for it for a few days and it may get returned to you as undeliverable.
Please don’t include any used tubing. Used tubing will contaminate the contents of the box.
It is very important that the Serial Number of your device is able to be identified to provide any warranty service or to give you a warranty on the work that is to be done. If the white tag on the JB-3 Valve body has come off, additional areas where the Serial Number can be found are on your original receipt (if you purchased it from JB-3.Com and on the second page of the Instruction Manual that came in the box with the JB-3.
When you ship any JB-3 back for repair you may want to insure it for $175.00 (though not required). Spending a few extra dollars will cover the cost of replacing the JB-3 Valve if it does get lost. Your best value is to ship 1st class United States Postal Service with insurance. FED-X and UPS cost much more and it does not speed up the delivery time and in some cases will take longer.
When you send your JB-3, put it in the clear plastic bag, that the Loaner came in, then put the plastic bag in the box that the Loaner came in (with Work Order inside) and put the box in the shipping envelope that is included in the box. The box will fit in the shipping envelope a little easier if either the left or right side of the box is inserted into the mouth of the envelope instead of the front or back being inserted. All you will need to do is attach postage (and insurance if you choose to insure it). We will be bill you for the repairs and additional postage (if any) when your repaired JB-3 is returned to you.
